Goodbye 2020!


Saying goodbye to this year is a complicated process. It's ok if you're not sure how to feel. It's ok to feel many conflicting things at once. I grieve for those who lost a loved one to COVID, for the ease I used to feel when connecting with friends, for the plan I had for balancing returning to school and working. I am grateful for the Black Lives Matter movement and the light it shines on racism, for the comfort of weathering the hard stuff with a partner who makes things better, for expanding my self-compassion-taking the space I need to feel ok.
